Solar power bank with a flashlight: 22.5 W fast-charge output, USB-C and solar input
A power bank you can top up from the sun, with a flashlight built in. Two 21700 Li-ion cells in parallel (3.6 V, about 36 Wh) sit behind a 10 A protection board. They charge from USB-C, or from a 6 V 10 W panel in the sun, through a 2 A charger; two Schottky diodes let either input feed it without back-feeding the other. The output stage is a 22.5 W fast-charge power-bank module (IP5328P / SW6208 class, with PD and QC). On the bench its boost stage is shown at the 9 V, 2.5 A step a fast-charging phone asks for, so you can see what that costs the cells: about 7 A at 3.6 V. That is why the cells, the protection board and the wires are sized for 10 A. A separate driver runs a 3 W LED as a flashlight. A sunny day (about 4 peak-sun hours on a 10 W panel) puts back roughly a third of a full charge; USB-C fills it in about 5 hours at 2 A.

⚠️ Mains wiring, big batteries and solar arrays can hurt you. Comments are other makers’ experience, not checked by the lab: check advice against the datasheets and your local electrical code, and report advice that looks dangerous. Be kind: community rules.
