1S 10 A protection board (DW01A, FS8205A)
DW01A driving four FS8205A in parallel · 1S Li-ion · 10 A continuous, trips at about 12 A (7 ms), short circuit about 109 A (400 µs) · over-charge 4.3 V/cell (4.30 V pack), over-discharge 2.5 V/cell (2.5 V pack) · no balancing

Try it on the benchThe lab drops it on an empty bench and opens its datasheet card.

Ratings and limits
| Protection | DW01A + FS8205A |
|---|---|
| Cells | 1S Li-ion |
| Over-charge | 4.3 V per cell after 110 ms · release 4.1 V |
| Over-discharge | 2.5 V per cell after 55 ms · release: connect a charger (or the cells recover above 2.9 V) |
| Discharge current | 10 A continuous · over-current trip about 12 A after 7 ms |
| Short circuit | about 109 A · 400 µs · release: remove the load |
| MOSFET resistance | 13 mΩ (125 mV and 1.3 W at 10 A) |
| Balancing | none |
| Temperature protection | none: above its continuous rating it heats, and its MOSFETs can fail shorted |
How to use it
Wire B− to the pack’s negative end, B+ to the positive end. The load and charger go on P+ and P−: the board switches the negative side with back-to-back MOSFETs.
