DS18B20 temperature sensor
DS18B20 digital thermometer · −55 to 125 °C, ±0.5 °C · 1-Wire bus on DQ: needs a 4.7 kΩ pull-up to 3.3 V · several sensors can share one pin · 9–12 bit, 750 ms per 12-bit reading · now 28 °C

Ratings and limits
| Range | −55 to +125 °C |
|---|---|
| Accuracy | ±0.5 °C (−10 to 85 °C) |
| Supply | 3.0–5.5 V |
| Bus | 1-Wire, needs 4.7 kΩ pull-up |
How to use it
Each sensor has its own 64-bit ID, so a dozen can share one pin. Waterproof probe versions go in tanks, soil and fridges. A reading of −127 °C means the bus has no pull-up or the sensor is not answering.
