Battery capacity indicator
Panel-mount LCD battery capacity indicator · 8–70 V · 10-section bar with % or voltage · code P12: lead-acid 12 V (10.5–12.7 V) · reverse-polarity protected · about 10 mA lit, 2.5 mA with the backlight off

Try it on the benchThe lab drops it on an empty bench and opens its datasheet card.

Ratings and limits
| Input | 8–70 V DC, reverse-polarity protected |
|---|---|
| Codes | P12 / P24 / P36 / P48 lead-acid · L3–L14 Li-ion 3.0–4.2 V per cell |
| Display | 10-section bar, % or voltage; MODE key: % → V → off |
| Current | ≈ 10 mA backlit, ≈ 2.5 mA backlight off (solder point A: off after 10 s), ≈ 0.5 mA display off |
| Accuracy | it reads voltage, not charge: under load or while charging the % is off |
How to use it
Shows how full a battery is. Wire it across the battery after its fuse or switch (it draws a few mA all the time). Pick the code for the chemistry and cell count: L3 for a 3S Li-ion pack, P12 for a 12 V lead-acid battery. There is no LiFePO4 code; on P12 a 12.8 V LiFePO4 pack reads 100 % until it is nearly empty.
