SMD LED
2835 0.5 W SMD LED, cool white 6500 k · 2.8 × 3.5 mm · Vf ≈ 3.1 V at 150 mA (60 lm) · 200 mA max · needs a current limit and copper or aluminium under it to shed heat

Try it on the benchThe lab drops it on an empty bench and opens its datasheet card.
Typical part: Mid-power SMD LED (2835 / 5730 / 3030 / 5050)
Pins
- anode (+)
- cathode (−, marked corner)
Ratings and limits
| Forward voltage | 3.1 V at 150 mA (bins 2.9–3.3 V for white) |
|---|---|
| Rated current | 150 mA |
| Absolute maximum | 200 mA |
| Light | about 60 lm at rated current |
| Reverse voltage | 5 V |
How to use it
Lighting: bulbs, tubes, floodlights, strips. Drive each LED (or each series string) from a current limit: a resistor, or a constant-current driver. Solder it to copper or aluminium: the heat leaves through the pad underneath.
