DRV8833 motor driver
DRV8833 dual H-bridge breakout · 2.7–10.8 V · 1.5 A per channel (MOSFETs, about 0.36 Ω per side) · IN1/IN2: 10 = forward, 01 = reverse, 11 = brake, 00 = coast · PWM an input for speed · over-current and thermal shutdown · SLP pulled up on the board

Try it on the benchThe lab drops it on an empty bench and opens its datasheet card.

Ratings and limits
| VM | 2.7–10.8 V |
|---|---|
| Current | 1.5 A RMS per channel |
| R_DS(on) | ≈ 0.36 Ω high + low |
| Protection | over-current, thermal, under-voltage |
How to use it
PWM one input while the other is low for speed with coasting (fast decay); hold one high and PWM the other for braking (slow decay, speed falls as duty rises). Good for small robots on a 2S Li-ion or 4×AA.
