Resistor (CFR-25)
Carbon film · 0.25 W

Try it on the benchThe lab drops it on an empty bench and opens its datasheet card.
Typical part: CF series carbon film (e.g. Yageo CFR-25)
Ratings and limits
| Power | 0.25 W at 70 °C, derate to 0 at 155 °C |
|---|---|
| Working voltage | 250 V (¼ W), 350 V (½ W) |
| Tolerance | ±5 % (gold band) |
How to use it
Limit current (LED series resistor), set bias (transistor base), divide voltage, pull a logic input up or down. Choose the power rating at about twice the expected dissipation.
